End of Life Planning and Understanding Hospice Care

This training explores end-of-life planning, emphasizing understanding hospice care. Participants learn to navigate complex medical, emotional, and legal aspects of end-of-life decisions. It covers creating advance directives, discussing preferences with loved ones, and accessing hospice services.

Understanding hospice’s role in providing comfort and dignity during terminal illness is highlighted. Participants gain practical insights for supporting individuals and families through this challenging yet crucial phase of life.

You are invited to join us for Light the Way, a National Suicide Prevention Month memorial event to remember and honor those who have died by suicide or have been impacted by it.

The event will take place at 8 p.m. on Monday, September 30th outside of the Seasons Hospice Grief Center for Education & Support. You are welcome to stop by until 9 p.m. to view the lights and join a moment of solidarity with others.

To have a candle lit in honor of your loved one, please send their name(s) by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25th, to CGES@seasonshospice.org. There is no fee to participate.

You are also welcome to light a candle at home or work and display it in a window. Share your participation on social media using #lighttheway and #suicidepreventionmonth2024.

Support Seasons Hospice by running or walking a 5K at Terra Loco for only $5. All proceeds will be given to Seasons Hospice.

No pre-registration is required, just show up at Terra Loco between 5:45 and 6. The run/walk begins at 6pm.

There will be snacks for all participants, and a few prizes as well. Dogs are welcome to join in the fun of the walk/run!
